My name is Mike and I live in Salina Kansas. I have been a company driver with Barlow Trans going on my second year. I have been driving for nearly 30 years, so I have been around the block per say and have worked for many different companies. One day as many drivers do while waiting for a load I checked the internet for jobs, so I entered my information into a website. Not long after Emma’ called me to talk about the opportunities at Barlow Trans. Just like all the other companies I heard blah blah blah blah. After a few days thinking about our conversation, I decided to give them a try. I am so glad that I decided to make the switch. They promised the miles and I promised to run. Not only did I push their capabilities, but they actually produced the miles! I ran nearly 155k my first year! Living in Salina or the surrounding area and having Schwans as an outbound load you can be home for your reset. As a driver here you are part of the team, it is not the driver against the company! If you give them an advanced notice they will get you home for your time requested off. They are a small Christian company that pray for their drivers and everyone works together as a team. I cannot say enough positive things about Stan, Emma’ and everyone in the office! If you live in Salina or the surrounding area this is a great company with new tractors. I really enjoy being a part of the Barlow Trans team and plan to be here for quite a long time.
